How To Set Windows Media Player As Default In Windows 8.1

Both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 ship with a bunch of Modern UI apps and some of them are pretty good.The Music app that ships with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 is the default software to open audio files. While the Music app in Windows 8 is pretty good and it has been revamped in Windows 8.1, it still lacks a couple of features, and it isn’t as good as Windows Media Player or any other desktop player.

Even though Microsoft hasn’t done any major improvements to Windows Media Player since Windows Vista, it’s still one of the best media player software out there for Windows operating system.
